The Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club (WDRC) is looking for a tech-savvy political activist to serve as its Communications Coordinator.

The position of Communications Coordinator is both political and technical.

The Communications Coordinator will be a member of the club’s Coordinating Committee, expected to attend the monthly CC and Club meetings and to participate in developing the club’s political direction and priorities.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for updating the club website ( www.wellstoneclub.org ), composing and sending our email newsletter (Constant Contact) 2/3 times per month, promoting the club’s activities in social media (including updates on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and engaging our members and supporters via Action Network.

A major goal of this effort is to bring younger, diverse members and leaders to the club so that a younger generation of activists can inherit and transform the unique political niche that the club pioneered.

We anticipate that the position will require approximately 15 hours per month and are prepared to pay up to $500/month to the right person.
