Speaker: Rachel Eisner, J Street
Rachel joined J Street in 2010, with 15 years of experience in community outreach, political organizing, and leadership development in the Bay Area and New York Jewish communities. She worked on Barbara Lee’s campaign after her “no” vote on the invasion of Afghanistan (fall 2001) organizing house parties to support her. Rachel holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration on the modern Middle East from U.C. Berkeley, which included a year at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and she is a certified mediator. A Manhattan native, Rachel lives in Berkeley, California, with her husband and three children.
J Street is a “pro-Israel, pro-peace” organization that advocates a two-state solution in Palestine and Israel, and supports an agreement with Iran on nuclear weapons.
